We are looking for self-motivated and safety-conscious candidates who would like to join our production team in our South Plainfield location!
As well as the daily bonus up to $10 per hour! New employees can earn $50K in total compensation when working at Canam Steel Corp for a 50-hour work week. This includes the base rate, overtime, retention and production bonuses. There are additional ways to earn including referral bonuses. Position is full-time with benefits! 1st Shift Schedule Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM + OT including some weekends JOB SUMMARY: The Machine Operator C is responsible for operating machinery in a manufacturing environment to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures. * Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications. * Assist with finished products by using banders to bundle finished products. * Assist with Break Press operations. * Operate overhead cranes and/or forklifts for efficient material handling. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. * Adhere to safety protocols. * Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. * Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required. | |
