Retail Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Sales Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be accountable to manage large data sets, provide analysis and performance metrics outcomes, work directly with the Retail Sales Team and in support of our field sales team. This role will also be responsible for reporting on key business metrics and delivering actionable insights. The Retail Analyst will also be expected to support the retail team during the line review process, reporting needs & ensure items are set up and maintained both on the shelf and online. This role will support the field sales team through reporting and retail in-stock availability needs. Additionally, the Retail Sales Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to include Marketing, Business Operations, Finance & Demand Planning to address retail needs and create and maintain business reports to provide insights into the retail business.

* Manage Sales Reporting: Oversee the preparation and distribution of sales reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, utilizing retailer data sources and IRI to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
* Maintain Item Information: Work within retailer data sources to keep item information up-to-date and accurate, ensuring seamless operations and inventory management.
* Key Metrics and Analysis: Report on key metrics, conduct inventory analysis, track lost sales, and provide specialized focus where needed to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Ad Hoc Requests: Respond to ad hoc requests for additional sales data, develop presentations, and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
* Online Content Management: Manage and update online content to ensure it is current, relevant, and engaging for customers.
* New Item Setup: Set up new items for both current and new retailers, ensuring all necessary information is accurately entered and maintained.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and sales teams to support business needs and drive sales growth.
* Line Review Assistance: Assist in the preparation of line review forms and decks, providing detailed and accurate information to support product evaluations and decisions.

The salary range for this position is $59,300 - $83,000 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions. * Educational Background: Holds a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
* Professional Experience: Possesses over 2 years of experience working with sales data or replenishment, providing actionable insights to relevant functional teams.
* Technical Skills: Demonstrates proficiency in using Retail Link, Scintilla, or Supplier Net.
* Communication Skills: Exhibits excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and effectively.
* Performance: Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding performance expectations in current or previous roles, demonstrating reliability and impact.
* Software Proficiency: Experienced user of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
