Duties and Responsibilities |
This position contributes to program administration, information analysis, decision-making, communications and overall coordination of the Outreach and Partnerships work of the Klein College of Science.
Responsibilities are to:
(1) work with the Dean and the Director of Development to cultivate the Klein College of Science Advisory Board, including planning and managing board meeting logistics and communications; (2) serve as a point of contact and work with College leadership in cultivating partnerships with external constituents, including those that promote internship, research, outreach and employment opportunities; (3) plan, manage and market college-level signature events and selected events of centers and departments; (4) work with the Director of Communications to identify and develop content for college-, department- and university-level social and public media; (5) develop and/or refine related Standard Operating Procedures regarding outreach and partnerships with the College; (6) serve as a resource for units within the College by supporting networking with external supporters; and (7) develop reports and tools to maintain accurate records of individuals and organizations that engage with the College.
This position supports the Klein College of Science Dean's Office, specifically by serving as a coordinator for external relations and events management for the College. |
