What You'll Do

As a Distribution Specialist, you will coordinate and supervise the daily tasks of the assistant magazine keepers to ensure proper transfer of finished goods to desired location. Other duties include:

  • Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety

  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives and regulations

  • Live and foster the IPL Corporate Values

  • Supports Manufacturing Excellence initiatives and ensures participation from all areas of responsibility.

  • Must be responsible for the accurate account of finished goods inventories.

  • Maintaining accurate records required by regulatory agencies.

  • Safe and efficient operations of Box trucks, narrow gauge locomotives, and Ottawa truck.

  • Safe and efficient operations of pallet jacks and shrink wrap machines.

  • Accurately generating Bills of Lading and export papers.

  • Entering and retrieving requisite data in SAP

  • Provide direction and manage the day to day tasks of the Asst. Magazine Keepers.

What We're Looking For

  • Familiarity with explosive manufacturing technology and processing technology.

  • Detailed familiarity with supply chain and Customer Service functions.

  • Knowledge of large vehicle operation, including backing and basic operations.

  • Knowledge of finished product placement and storage capacities.

  • Ability of follow all safety protocol regarding large vehicle operation and transportation of explosives.

  • Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives.

  • Knowledge of basic SAP inventory functions
