Electrician - JLL What this job involves As an Electrician, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.. Your expertise ensures that all electrical work meets relevant codes and safety standards, keeping buildings powered safely and efficiently. You'll work with various power distribution systems, lighting installations, and electrical components while following National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations. What your day-to-day will look like Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and switches Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using testing devices Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems Install and maintain lighting systems throughout various building types Work in diverse environments including indoors, outdoors, and at various heights Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients May work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties Travel between multiple job sites as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or vocational training Valid state electrical license (requirements vary by location) Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Proficiency with hand and power tools Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments and weather conditions Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Advanced electrical certifications or specialized training Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems Familiarity with energy-efficient technologies and smart building systems Previous experience in facilities management or commercial real estate environments Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Location: Onsite Location: On-site -Tucson, AZ If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.
