Receptionist

Staffmark is seeking a Receptionist in Monroe, LA to answer incoming calls, gather essential information, and dispatch the appropriate response or route calls to the correct department. Schedule: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Pay: $12/hour

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously
• Obtain and accurately record caller information, including name, contact details, and the nature of the inquiry or emergency
• Follow established protocols to assess situations and determine the appropriate response or department
• Enter call details into the system with high accuracy
• Maintain professionalism and composure during high-pressure situations
• Provide callers with information or instructions as needed
• Collaborate with dispatchers, supervisors, and other departments to ensure effective and timely resolution
• Escalate urgent or complex issues when necessary

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Previous experience in a call center, customer service, or dispatch role (preferred)
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
• Ability to type quickly and accurately
• Proficient with basic computer applications and call management systems
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
