We're looking for a highly detail-oriented Packaging Production Artist to support our high-volume packaging workflow. This is a remote, full-time freelance position (40 hours/week) for an initial 3-month engagement, with the possibility of extension.

You're someone who thrives in production, loves the process, and understands the importance of precision in packaging design. You'll work alongside a team of strong designers and be responsible for preparing clean, accurate files for print-primarily cardboard-based packaging for international and direct-to-consumer (DTC) markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and finalize dielines and mechanicals for a wide range of packaging formats:

    • DTC boxes

    • Belly bands
    • Hangtags
    • Specialty boxes for Asia and other international markets

  • Ensure all production files meet print specifications and brand standards.
  • Maintain consistency and precision across high-volume SKUs.
  • Work closely with design and production teams to set up packaging files correctly-no detail is too small.
  • Support the transition to Figma for select digital asset needs.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years of experience in packaging production, with a strong portfolio of box and dieline work.
  • Deep understanding of how to set up production-ready files for print.
  • Passion for production and meticulous attention to detail-you find satisfaction in getting every line, bleed, and fold just right.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-output environment.
  • Clear communicator who collaborates well with designers and cross-functional teams.

Tools & Skills:

  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Familiarity with Figma a plus (especially for digital file handling).
  • Strong organizational and file management skills.
  • Working knowledge of international packaging standards is a bonus.
