Proactively & effectively manages projects (you will not be leading all these projects but, will be serving as the project manager) related to:

  • New product developments and improvements
  • New process developments and improvements
  • Equipment developments, designs and improvements
  • Internal & external technology commercialization
  • Productivity and optimization projects for products, processes and our proprietary systems
  • Internal technology leveraging
  • Technology & Engineering Innovations

This Position is responsible for leading or providing project management leadership for various projects related to successfully executing our technology & engineering strategies including new product developments, process developments, equipment developments, material developments, optimization projects, etc. for all our industrial converting divisions.

The person in this position will provide project management leadership to help the Global Technology & Engineering organization execute projects in a timely and effective fashion. This person will also lead projects as appropriate. Projects will be varied as described above and will be in support of all our converting divisions

What you will do:

  • Provides project management leadership for Global Converting Technology & Engineering
  • Project management and/or project oversight for such initiatives as product developments/improvements, process developments/improvements, equipment developments/improvements, materials developments/improvements and various projects related to technical innovations and technical leadership
  • Projects will also focus on the successful and timely commercialization of technologies
  • Provide Technical Training for operations, quality, commercial and other technical personnel
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization
  • Must work well with all teams and functions to accomplish our objectives

Requirements:

  • 4 year engineering degree required (Mechanical Engineering is preferred)
  • Experience in paper related industries is a plus
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience using MS Project/Planner
  • PMP Certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of programs such as Solidworks, Inventor, etc. is a plus.
