**About the Role:**

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous individual to join our technical writing team. In this part-time capacity, you will be at the forefront of creating essential documentation that highlights significant changes in our privacy-related content. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on precision, has a keen eye for detail, and understands the importance of clear communication in a highly regulated environment. You will contribute directly to our compliance efforts, providing advanced notice of updates to international regulators and supporting the smooth operation of our global services.

**Key Responsibilities:**



  • Thoroughly compare updated technical documentation with previous versions to identify and summarize all notable changes.
  • Generate weekly documentation change log reports, detailing significant updates for a specific audience of international regulators.
  • Prepare and organize content for delivery to international regulatory bodies, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow technical writers and engineering partners to review changes and finalize documentation.
  • Utilize version control systems to track and mark documentation changes.
  • Employ document creation software to compile and present information professionally.

**Must-Have Skills & Experience:**



  • 2+ years of overall experience in technical writing.
  • 2+ years of experience utilizing version control systems.
  • 2+ years of experience with document creation software for technical writing.
  • 2+ years of experience creating and editing technical writing content for enterprise administrators and IT generalists.
  • Demonstrated ability to write simple, clear, and conversational content for both in-product and web-based platforms.
  • Proven technical expertise and the confidence to quickly adapt to new projects and technologies.
  • Ability to confidently navigate and manage ambiguity in project requirements and scope.
  • No specific degree is required for eligibility.


**Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience:**



  • Previous experience working within the privacy, security, or compliance domains.
  • A portfolio or collection of previous work samples that are easy to read, well-organized, and feature engaging content.


**Other Details:**



  • This is a part-time role, requiring approximately 8 hours per week, with flexible hours as long as you can attend 1-2 weekly meetings.
  • This role is highly likely to extend for a full 18 months.
  • A standard laptop is required for this position.
