Support EMEAI BUs with technical expertise/ customer knowledge and doing liaison between the plants, Technical, and commercial as well as own the Opp Cost metrics - maintain Quality metrics and ensure balance between GSC and the BU at the item level.

Reporting to the Quality Excellence Manager the Quality Manager BU GI Liquid working in collaboration with other Quality excellence BUs in the different regions, assisting GSC to achieve their Quality KPI's. Understand clearly customer expectation and improve customer satisfaction with a clear GI Quality improvement strategy. QMBU's may also lead specific quality initiatives or projects relating to quality & opportunity cost within GSC Quality Team. QMBU may need to support GSC Quality when required on customer quality matters.

High image and exposure position for General Industrial business. Candidate will have frequent interactions with marketing, sales, technical, operations, accounting teams.


  • Lead daily product quality for GI BU including the complaint process for GI Liquid business activity
  • Ensure the quality health as measured by Opportunity Cost, Complaint Rate, and Complaint Resolution/Stabilization Days.
  • Responsible for the Complaint Satisfaction Program including maintaining and improving.
  • Lead the monthly Quality Review Board meetings to drive core quality issues for GI Liquid BU
  • Engage functional (R&D, Operations, CI, etc...) resources to drive complex ARC resolutions
  • This position will regularly interface with GSC Operations, GI BU R&D, PCG Group Quality, Purchasing, Complaint Teams, and field Technical Service to drive PCG GI Liquid Product Quality.
  • Bachelor's Degree - science, quality, or equivalent - MBA preferred
  • Must have at least 10 years of experience in Operations, Quality or Technical
  • Paint manufacture experience preferred.
  • Flexible work schedule to adapt prioritization changes and needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a cross functional team to a successful outcome
  • Strong Presentations skills & Facilitator
  • Results oriented
  • Program knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access, Minitab
  • Demonstrated success in leading Root Cause investigations and analysis tools
