Overview
The Home Health Administrative Assistant provides high level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports and handling information requests. Performs clerical functions such as creating and maintaining filing systems, collecting payroll information, maintaining personnel files, scheduling meetings and coordinating repair and maintenance for fiscal plant and communication systems. Performs a wide variety of responsible, complex, and confidential administrative and secretarial duties that require considerable confidentiality, initiative, tact, maturity, independent judgment, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Qualifications Certifications: , Education: , Work Experience: 2yrs of Administrative assistant Responsibilities Maintains professional license file, certifications, driver licenses and auto insurance files for all employees. Notifies licensees of pending expirations; obtains renewed license and maintains database with expiration informationPerforms typing of correspondence, memos, charts, meeting minutes, statistics, etc. for the director. May prepare documents from notes, rough drafts, oral instruction, memos, transcripts, or minutes. Edits drafts for composition, grammar, and structure.Produces documents and statistical reports, minutes, etc. using Internet software, Microsoft Office, and other technical software that result in complex tables, forms, and reports from rough draft or from dictation. Edits draft for composition and grammar.Provides routine office and clerical support to department staff, as appropriately delegated.Sorts/classifies and distributes incoming and outgoing mail for director. Accepts and screens telephone calls and routes appropriately; promptly and gracious responds to calls and visitors and determines the urgency of the situation.Prepares changes in licensure and send off to the appropriate governing bodies with directors approval.Monitors policies for updates and prepares policies with changes made by the appropriate staff and sends for signature.Prepares Lawson orders for the director or manager to sign.Completes charge entry for patient care supplies. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $16.03per hour - $25.97per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
