R&D Tech Coordinator

A Career Level R&D technician is responsible for performing non-standard and complicated R&D duties with respect to the manufacturing and product development processes. This technician will assist in more complex processes as directed by higher level technicians, management, or engineering. A technician at this level will provide solutions to routine tool and manufacturing issues within their designated work area.

• Operate equipment dedicated to semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Execute MBE growth and characterization manufacturing processes.
• Ensure seamless inventory management to support uninterrupted semiconductor manufacturing operations.
• Support NTI development by adapting to dynamic manufacturing requirements.
• Utilize a computer and data system for data entry while following written instructions
• Implementation of continuous improvement and lean principles to optimize workflow.
• Manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment is a must.
• Semiconductor and/or cleanroom manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
• Must have the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary organization by communicating effectively with supervisors, engineers, and maintenance personnel to ensure that manufacturing needs are being met.

Ability to follow verbal or simple written instructions and procedures. Ability to follow the workflow processes. Knowledge of company policies. Must be able to support at least one fabrication area on R&D deliverables. A Careel Level Technician must seek cross training opportunities that benefit their personal development and create a more resilient operation.

• Semiconductor processing experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to learn quickly following verbal and written instructions regarding safety, chemical handling and wafer processing.
• Ability to sustain a high quality of work in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.
• High attention to detail, especially in regards to data entry and inventory management.
• Must be flexible and able to adjust to changing goals, objectives and policies of the company. Ability to work overtime.
• Excellent work ethics in terms of attendance, organization, and team skills.
• Be comfortable using computers and learning new computer programs.
• Able to stand and walk the entire shift.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and demonstrating excellent manual dexterity.

Pay Range:

USD $58,610.00 - USD $97,680.00 Year

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
