Description Management/Leadership MaineHealth Behavioral Health at Spring Harbor is Southern Maine's only not-for-profit, free standing private psychiatric facility. The 100-bed licensed center is set on 50 private acres. Children, adolescents and adults experience a comfortable and pleasant setting for psychiatric treatment. As part of the MaineHealth system, Spring Harbor is clinically integrated with mental health providers, hospitals, and primary care sites to make sure people can access care easily, safely and effectively. The 1 North West Coed Adolescent Psychiatric Unit at Spring Harbor Hospital specializes in the care of lower acuity adolescent girls and boys generally between ages 12-18.Unit treatment and programming include comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, individual and family therapy, occupational therapy interventions, and utilization of positive behavioral incentives and supports. Patients receive on-site academic tutoring and engage in recreational opportunities in the gym, and the outside playground and courtyard areas. Treatment includes dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, milieu activities, and skills-based groups. The Nurse Manager will lead a team of 30+ direct reports including Nurses and Psych Techs and will work closely with the other Unit Managers (two other Adolescent Managers and the Child Unit Manager), as well as the other disciplines on their service (primarily Medical staff, Social Work Behavioral Analyst and Occupational Therapy team members). This role is normally scheduled Weekdays, 8-4:30, with minimal off hours coverage as needed. Summary: Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
