*Position:* Bilingual (Spanish/English) - Patient Services Agent
*Job Overview:* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual Patient Services Agent to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients over the phone, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical environment. You will be working in a call center setting with no direct patient (face to face) interaction. All patient interaction will be over the phone, text, or email communication. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle various office responsibilities will be crucial in ensuring a smooth patient experience. Looking for candidates with healthcare experience. Must have experience working in a call center setting, insurance verification (HMO, PPO, Medicare, etc.), scheduling appointments, EMR or EHR experience, and medical customer service experience. Must have 1-3 years of the above experience and must be bilingual in Spanish and English. *Location: *Burbank, CA (100% Onsite) *Pay: *$21/hr (Based on experience, room for growth) *Schedule:* Monday - Friday / 8am - 5pm (No weekends) *Responsibilities* * Answer incoming calls from patients (On average 60-80 calls a day) * Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers. * Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history. * Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as needed. * Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. * Provide information about services offered, including dental and medical procedures. * Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence. * Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and support during appointments. *Requirements* * Bilingual in Spanish and English is a must * Previous experience in a medical office setting is required * Familiarity with medical terminology is required. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff. * Proficiency in office software applications for administrative support tasks. * A compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding patient care. *Work Enviroment: *Non patient facing, Call Center / Back Office Enviroment at a Medical Clinic *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
