Job description

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with strong experience in SSRS to lead the migration of SSRS reports to Power BI. This role involves analyzing existing SSRS reports and redesigning them in Power BI, and ensuring seamless integration with business data sources.

Key Responsibilities:

* Analyze, assess, and document the SSRS reports for migration feasibility. * Redesign and develop equivalent Power BI reports and dashboards with enhanced interactivity and visualization. * Integrate Power BI solutions with Snowflake data warehouse and other enterprise data sources. * Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and ensure continuity. * Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability in Power BI. * Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance throughout the migration process. * Document migration processes, challenges, and solutions for future reference. Required Skills & Experience: * 3+ years of experience in SSRS report development and maintenance. * 2+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. * Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases. * Experience working with Snowflake, including writing efficient queries and integrating with BI tools. * Experience with SSRS to Power BI migration projects. * Familiarity with Power BI Service, workspaces, and deployment pipelines. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with RDL Migration Tool or similar automation tools. * Knowledge of Azure cloud platforms. * Microsoft certifications in Power BI. * Snowflake certifications or hands-on experience with Snowflake performance tuning.
