Position Overview: The Systems Analyst III - ECM provides advanced technical administration, subject matter expertise, and solution development for Broadway Bank's Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms, primarily Hyland OnBase and Fiserv Nautilus. This role ensures reliable document storage, retrieval, workflow automation, and retention to support compliance, risk management, and operational excellence. In addition to leading ECM upgrades, integrations, and performance monitoring, the position partners with business units and technology vendors to optimize ECM capabilities, align with strategic objectives, and deliver secure, efficient, and user-focused solutions. The role may also support other applications within the Bank's technology portfolio. Essential Functions:
- Administer and maintain the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system, serving as subject matter expert for Hyland OnBase and Fiserv Nautilus.
- Perform advanced system troubleshooting, escalating issues to vendors when necessary, and ensuring timely resolution of complex technical problems.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute ECM upgrades, patches, and regression testing to maintain system stability, compliance, and user satisfaction.
- Design, configure, and maintain workflows, WorkView applications, and custom automation processes to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with business units to translate requirements into ECM solutions, ensuring that technology capabilities align with strategic goals and regulatory needs.
- Monitor system availability, reliability, and performance, proactively identifying and addressing risks before they impact business operations.
- Oversee ingestion processes such as Document Import Processing (DIP) and COLD, ensuring successful batch processing, indexing, and data integrity.
- Maintain accurate taxonomy, metadata structures, and document types to support data governance, consistency, and compliance.
- Conduct system validation and regression testing after Microsoft patching or other infrastructure updates.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, and operating procedures to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing.
- Provide end-user support, training, and mentorship to increase system adoption, efficiency, and compliance across the organization.
- Partner with IT security and compliance teams to ensure ECM solutions adhere to regulatory requirements and data protection standards.
- Collaborate with IT development and engineering teams to build and support integrations between the ECM system and other enterprise platforms.
- Research and evaluate emerging ECM technologies, recommending and implementing improvements that align with the Bank's digital transformation strategy.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, system backup validation, and incident response processes to protect mission-critical ECM services.
- Demonstrate initiative by anticipating business needs, identifying opportunities for automation, and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
- Support additional enterprise applications as assigned, ensuring consistent service excellence.
- This position may require travel within the Bank's geographic area.
Experience & Education:
- 5-7 years of hands-on ECM experience, including implementations, upgrades, and administration.
- Advanced technical experience with Hyland OnBase and/or Fiserv Nautilus required.
- Proven track record planning and executing upgrades, patches, and regression testing.
- Experience designing and supporting workflows, WorkView applications, and ECM-related integrations.
- Hands-on application deployment support in enterprise environments.
- Banking or financial services industry experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field required; equivalent experience considered.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server administration, patching, and performance monitoring.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL for system support, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with API/web services and middleware for ECM integrations.
- Understanding of metadata structures, document taxonomy, and data governance principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective ECM solutions.
- Excellent documentation and technical writing skills, with attention to accuracy and clarity.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to partner with business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements for records management in banking.
- Customer-focused mindset with commitment to service excellence and user adoption.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, and competing deadlines.
- High degree of accountability, ownership, and initiative for mission-critical systems.

to support after-hours or weekend system changes, upgrades, or incident response as needed. - Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull weights or otherwise move objects weighing as much as 10 lbs. on a regular basis and/or for extended periods of time during the workday.
