About the role

The CDL Class A Driver II is responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. This role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of manual and automatic transmission equipment, including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flatbeds.

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods/materials over long distances in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.

• Operate specialized pump equipment on vehicles to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.

• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.

• Complete all required administrative tasks and documentation related to transportation, hazardous/non-hazardous materials, and vehicle/equipment maintenance (manifests, bills of lading, medical waste tracking, logs, delivery receipts, inspection reports, incident reports, etc.).

• Ensure vehicle placarding is compliant with DOT regulations.

• Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers regarding instructions, delivery status, and any potential delays.

• Promote safety at all times-for fellow employees, clients, and the public-while operating company vehicles and performing company activities.

• Accurately interpret maps and follow written or verbal directions.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 21 years old (required for interstate commercial driving per federal regulations).

• CDL Class A with tanker endorsement.

• Minimum of 3 years of Class A commercial driving experience, including tanker experience.

• Acceptable driving record.

• Regional or home daily schedule.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred.

• Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb for extended periods.

• Ability to grip, reach, push, pull, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

• Willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions.

• Adequate vision and hearing to safely perform job duties.
