Procurement Specialist
Jackson, MS- 100% onsite :Education: High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field preferred (but not always required). * Experience: o 1-2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, warehousing, logistics, or related field. o Prior experience in expediting, order tracking, or vendor coordination desirable. * Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word). Power bi Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (Maximo) preferred. Basic understanding of procurement and inventory control processes. * Core Competencies: Strong organizational and time management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and problem-solving ability. o Customer service orientation with ability to work collaboratively across departments. * Other Requirements: Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet urgent operational demands. Must be able to pass company background and compliance checks. Must be onsite and able to travel to vendor facilities Full Time Hours- 4-10's ONSITE Duration: 12 Months Location: Jackson, MS | |
