Network Administrator Ft. Meade, MD Pay From: $150,000 MUST: Active TS/SCI required 6+ years of experience in network administration or related Proficiency in managing network technologies such as TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP) Strong knowledge of network optimization techniques, traffic analysis, and quality of service (QoS) strategies. Experience with DoD 8570 compliance and Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification. Experience with firewall and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS). Ability to analyze network issues and identify efficient solutions to ensure uninterrupted network operations. Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python is a plus. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across functional teams. Familiarity with network security controls and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, RMF). Security+ certification with CCNA or Network+ certification required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred. Four (4) additional years of experience may substitute for a degree. DUTIES: As a Network Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable network systems that meet customer requirements. Support a variety of network-related tasks, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, configuration management, and disaster recovery planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security compliance and providing expertise to enhance overall network performance and reliability.
