Location(s): Irving, TX

About the Role:

We are a 24/7/365 monitoring company seeking dedicated 2nd Shift Operators to join our Central Monitoring Station (CMS) team. Operators are responsible for monitoring alarms, dispatching emergency responses, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are passionate about helping others.

Key Responsibilities


  • Monitor and process alarm signals in real time, prioritizing and dispatching appropriate personnel or agencies.
  • Answer inbound calls from customers requiring service, account updates, or alarm-related support.
  • Accurately document all activity, calls, and resolutions in the system.
  • Generate statistical or investigative reports as needed.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by listening carefully, communicating clearly, and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Attend monthly training sessions and stay familiar with emergency procedures.
  • Participate in shift bids (every 6 months, based on production, after full training).


Qualifications


  • Required:

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Strong typing skills and ability to navigate computerized systems.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.


  • Preferred:

    • Alarm monitoring or security call center experience.
    • Knowledge of Access Control, Fire, and Burglary systems.
    • ACD (Automatic Call Distribution) system experience.




Work Schedule


  • Permanent Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (2 consecutive days off; schedule determined by coverage needs, often includes weekends).
  • Training Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM for 3-4 weeks.
  • Days off may change during training, but will always remain consecutive.
