What you will do: Aerzen is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Biogas Business Development Manager to drive growth within the growing biogas and renewable natural gas (RNG) sectors. This strategic role will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, and positioning Aerzen as the preferred partner for blower and compressor solutions in biogas applications. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the biogas value chain, from anaerobic digestion to gas upgrading and injection, and have a proven track record of successful business development in this market. Requirements
Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental), Business Administration, or a related field. * 5+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or project management within the biogas, renewable natural gas (RNG), waste-to-energy, or related industrial gas sectors. * Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and building a robust project pipeline. * In-depth knowledge of biogas production processes (anaerobic digestion), gas upgrading technologies (e.g., PSA, membrane, cryogenics), and gas compression/injection systems. * Strong understanding of relevant industry standards, regulations, and incentives for biogas/RNG. * Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. * Willingness to travel frequently [Specify percentage, e.g., 50-75%] within the assigned territory and internationally as required. * Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
