We're looking for innovative professionals who thrive in mission-critical environments and are passionate about shaping the future of air traffic management. In this role, you will plan, evaluate, and coordinate the installation and configuration of local and remote voice and data communications equipment, ensuring the highest levels of operational efficiency and reliability. • Oversee voice network reconfigurations and billing reconciliations to ensure accuracy and operational continuity.

  • Ensure that all software, including network control programs, meets communications needs and integrates effectively with installed hardware.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the development of standards for carrier services and equipment.

  • Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including operational instructions, diagrams, and configuration details.

  • Monitor regulatory changes and provide analysis of voice networks for short- and long-term planning of in-house systems.

  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and FAA stakeholders to ensure network designs support 24/7 mission-critical operations.

  • Provide guidance on emerging technologies and future architecture strategies to ensure the NAS voice network remains modern, scalable, and resilient.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; ideal candidates will have 20+ years of experience in voice/telecommunications architecture design.

  • Proven expertise designing voice and telecommunications systems for complex or mission-critical facilities with 24/7 operational requirements.

  • Hands-on experience with both TDM and IP-based technologies.

  • Preferred: Experience supporting FAA programs and familiarity with current FAA NAS voice and telecommunications architectures.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
