Basic Function
HF Sinclair in Dallas, TX is seeking a Crude Supply Intern who will conduct routine assignments for the Crude Oil Supply department under close and frequent supervision.
Job Duties
(functions considered essential as defined by ADA)
  • Assist Senior Crude Supply and Trading staff as needed.
  • Clerical Duties - Filing, Assisting Crude Supply Group as needed.
  • Assists with researching and Plotting Trends (Pricing / Economic / Graphing) to develop trading strategies.
  • Assist Crude Scheduling team with data management.
  • Assists in the creation of dashboards for Crude Supply Team, using Alteryx or Power BI.
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their superior, as determined from timeto time in their sole and complete discretion.
Experience
None required.
Education Level
Some completed courses needed for a bachelor's degree, in business administration or related is required.
Required Skills
Ability to perform a variety of basic assignments as they relate to crude oil supply, and/or lease crude scheduling. Basic knowledge of Microsoft products, advanced knowledge of Excel. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication advanced reading and writing skills, and the ability to perform intermediate level of mathematical calculations. Must have the proper personal demeanor and professional outlook that will create mutual respect with peers and a positive work environment. Must be a self-starter with the drive and ability to achieve planned objectives. Ability to be creative, organized, analytical.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility
None.

Physical Requirements
Job conditions require standing, walking, sitting, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movement, reaching or grasping, and ability to wear personal protective equipment (beards not permitted). Job conditions may require lifting and/or carrying up to 25 lbs and climbing up to 20 ft.
