The Washington Trust Company is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Wealth Management Sales Assistant to support the growth of our Wealth Management division. This role is a vital part of our expanding team of Wealth and Planning professionals, contributing directly to new business development and client onboarding.


As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to prospective clients and their advisors. You'll collaborate closely with our sales and marketing team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and provide high-quality support throughout the client journey.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist with onboarding new clients and opening accounts
  • Prepare customized presentation materials and client communications
  • Provide administrative, clerical, and analytical support to sales professionals
  • Maintain and update the relationship management system
  • Support marketing initiatives including client events, webinars, and sales materials


What We're Looking For:



  • A team-oriented professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and proofreading abilities
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Flexible and eager to learn new systems and processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and software applications:

    • PowerPoint for client presentations
    • Excel for internal reporting and data analysis
    • Word for professional client communications




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in financial services or client support. SIE Certification desirable
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred
  • Excellent business communications skills are needed to create clear and professional client materials.
  • Interest in building a career in Wealth Management within a collaborative, client-focused environment
