Could you be the full-time hybrid Project Contract Manager in Pittsburgh, PA, US we're looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your contract and claim management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in driving proactive contract and risk mitigation strategies, ensuring Alstom's business objectives are met. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, Legal, Finance, Engineering, and Sourcing), monitor and manage contractual obligations, and provide training on contract/claim management to key stakeholders, and much more."

We'll look to you for:




  • Preparing and regularly updating the Contract Summary and communicating it widely.,



  • Developing and driving the implementation of the Contract Management Strategy Plan (CMSP) with the Core Project Team.,



  • Ensuring the application of the Contract, Claims, and Insurance Management Manual (CCIM) and Alstom governance.,



  • Organizing the Contract Management Day with the Core Project Team.,



  • Analyzing contracts to build and communicate Contract/Claim Management Strategy Plans on a quarterly basis.,



  • Contributing to the Contract Deliverables Requirements List (CDRL) to ensure timely launch, accurate communication, and updates.,



  • Monitoring project schedules to ensure compliance with contractual milestones.,



  • Issuing timely contractual notices.,



  • Establishing and implementing project-specific commercial procedures, including correspondences, notifications, insurance, variation requests/orders, and claims preparation files.,



  • Collaborating with the Documentation Controller and/or Project Contract Administrator to ensure reliable filing and easy access to all correspondences."

  • Degree in Law, Engineering, Finance, Technical, Economics, Business Sciences, or another related field. ,



  • Experience or understanding of Contract Management, Claim Management, or Project Management. ,



  • Knowledge of contract negotiation strategies, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution processes. ,



  • Familiarity with project schedules, variation requests/orders, and insurance policies. ,



  • Demonstrated customer relationship development skills. ,



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ,



  • Ability to analyze contracts and provide proactive commercial advice. ,



  • Competence in preparing and managing claim files and supporting documentation. ,



  • Adaptability to travel up to 20%-30% as required.
