ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

This position will have overall responsibility for leading and directing operations and associated support functions. This leadership role participates on the Chief Manufacturing and Quality (CM&Q) Leadership Team and cultivates a close relationship with the extended Senior Staff leadership group. The primary responsibility is ensuring the on-time production of high-quality products in a cost-efficient and safe manner. This role is accountable for developing long-term strategies for optimization of all operations in partnership with functional and enterprise objectives. This role will interface with Research & Development (R&D) and Marketing outside of their direct responsibility requiring significant collaboration with peers.

OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE



  • Provide leadership and direction to the Operations organization. Establish, monitor, and provide ongoing feedback against annual goals and objectives.
  • Directs the ongoing Operations Integration and Ramp up activity with a focus on optimizing the cost structure.
  • Establish, direct, and influence the management of a Global EIBP and Supply Planning process to meet growth objectives, to optimize inventory, production needs, and distribution processes to meet long term customer needs while minimizing disruption to product availability.
  • Collaborate closely with IT to implement and leverage technology platforms to provide accurate data analysis and advanced forecasting while ensuring seamless integration across all companywide systems and our third-party logistics partners.
  • Partner closely with other relevant functions by aligning business objectives with supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve overall performance for the business.
  • Effectively balance the desire/need for broad change with an understanding of how much change the organization is capable of handling. Create realistic goals and implementation plans.
  • Champion talent attraction and development playing a role in the recruitment of top talent, while supporting talent development and growth opportunities for all employees.
  • Responsible for the development and administration of support function budgets.
  • Sets "tone at the top" in driving a culture of quality, compliance, and employee safety & engagement.
  • Fosters an environment of continuous improvement in the areas of cost, quality, service, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Drives lean thinking/manufacturing concepts through all manufacturing/supply chain and administrative functions through the development and implementation of the Inspire Lean System
  • Participates, as necessary in due diligence activities for acquisitions, product lines and new technology.


QUALITY SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Document product and therapy related field reports within the prescribed timelines and provide any necessary documents required to complete the investigation. Provide follow-up reporting as needed.
  • Complete training requirements and competency confirmations as required for this position within the required timeline.
  • Comply with applicable quality system procedures/policies and make suggestions for continuous process improvement.
  • Ensure all direct reports maintain training records that comply with applicable quality system requirements.


WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM

Required:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 15 years' experience in operations management and at least 7 years' experience in a Sr. leadership role
  • At least 10 years' experience managing people and organizations.
  • Experience using and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational excellence, streamline processes, and enhance efficiency.


Preferred:



  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

The salary for this position will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.

Salary
$237,800 $356,600 USD
