Under general supervision, performs a variety of duties in the Facilities Department.
Core Responsibilities
- Performs general maintenance of buildings.
- Operates minor hand and power tools and performs general maintenance of such.
- Maintains grounds as assigned with manual and powered landscaping equipment and performs general maintenance on such.
- Performs snow/ice removal with manual and powered snow/ice removal equipment and performs general maintenance on such.
- Performs basic lighting and wiring tasks.
- Performs basic plumbing and pipefitting tasks.
- Performs basic carpentry tasks.
- Performs basic troubleshooting on heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems.
- Performs basic PC-based functions to access, retrieve, enter and/or verify job-related information.
- Assists other employees as necessary.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Ensures that Company safety, health, and environmental practices are followed as required.
Required Education/Experience
Relevant Work Experience
- Must pass written and practical Predictive Testing (entry level). Required
- Must be capable of learning and performing computer system data entry. Required
- Must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office. Required
- Must be able to instruct employees assisting on the same work. Required
- Must be in sound physical condition and be able to lift materials. Required
- Possession of the qualities of neatness, cleanliness, and orderliness in the workplace and in person. Required
