What to Expect
The training team is looking for an energetic Training Specialist (exempt position) to be a liaison between new hire and production.This team will be critical in ensuring trainees are properly integrated in their job(s) and get the support needed to be successful after the New Hire Training and transitioning to on-the-job training.They will also help to oversee the peer training program lineside to ensure people are properly trained and certified.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate training activities in the GFNY vehicle remanufacturing group
- Ensure training team metrics and goals are hit consistent with SPARC
- Interact with both the coaching and leadership team to develop the right culture
- Highlight issues or potential issues with training that will affect safety, quality, and efficiency to avoid downtime, or incidents
- Hold Workstation Trainer workshops to properly train and certify new trainers
- Provide daily/weekly reports to Leadership on training progress and gaps
- Celebrate new certifications with the team via standups and/or other communication
What You'll Bring
- 3-5+ years of manufacturing/production expierence.Experience leading teams is highly desired
- Ability to listen, encourage, motivate is a requirement
- Must be willing to support multiple shifts
- Must have strong organizational skills to maintain schedules and deadlines
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to communicate in both written and oral formats clearly and effectively at different levels of the organization
- Open collaborative style: ability to work both in a team environment and autonomously with minimal supervision or direction

Expected Compensation
- Associate Project Mgr - $61,200 - $91,800/annual salary
- Project Mgr - $72,000 - $108,000/annual salary
+ cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
