As a Security Officer Armed Aero Patrol in Redmond, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations within a dynamic aerospace and defense environment. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence to employees and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and upholding access control measures, all while carrying out your duties in an armed capacity. You will also be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and site personnel, and contribute to a collaborative work environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Carry and operate assigned firearms in accordance with company policies and training requirements.
• Assist with access control measures, including verifying identification and controlling entry points as required.
• Communicate with site personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Must possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2 years of experience as a security supervisor or manager, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
