Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks a highly qualified Counsel Attorney to join its Mass Torts Practice Group. This opportunity is open to our Charleston, SC office.
The position will involve working in an active and dynamic practice that touches all aspects of litigation including discovery, depositions, motions practice, and trial. The successful candidate will be given autonomy to handle assigned cases while at the same time having access to the knowledge and experience of seasoned litigators.
Candidates with two years of litigation experience and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced litigation practice are preferred. Federal clerkship is required. Successful candidates will possess strong written and oral advocacy skills and excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate is both a team player and a self-starter, seeking increasing levels of responsibility. The litigators in the Mass Torts Practice Group frequently collaborate to analyze and strategize how to handle each case. It is essential that the successful candidate have the skill, knowledge, and ability to conduct research and apply laws , court decisions, and rules of evidence and procedure in order to defend clients and reach a successful resolution of each matter. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively and cooperatively with paralegals, legal practice assistants and staff.
Candidates must be licensed in South Carolina. Candidates must be willing to travel for court appearances, and other proceedings as necessary. We are open to work from home, part-time or flexible hour arrangements.
