Recruiter: Cady Rowland-Szabad/ cady.rowland@airliquide.com /+1 (539) 549-3424 CALL/TEXT The Branch Cylinder Filler/Backup Driver is responsible for filling industrial, medical and specialty gas products into liquid gas cylinders in compliance with federal, state, local regulations, and meeting the standard operating procedures of Airgas. Responsible for meeting all safety standards in the loading and unloading of cylinder gases per Airgas procedures. Responsible for performing backup duties as a Driver and Administrative when necessary. You will be filling high pressure cylinders (Industrial, Medical and Mixes) following compression temperature / pressure method. Operate and safely maintain equipment for pumping or repackaging gases into cylinders. Perform all required pre-fill and post-fill inspections and tests before cylinders are released. Ensure cylinders are adequately maintained - cylinders requiring maintenance or repair are removed from service until corrected. Regularly inspect and maintain pumping apparatus and associated pressure gauges and monitoring devices. Fill cylinders or containers to proper pressure or weight, whichever is appropriate. Ensure cylinder filling records are accurately maintained and that all required procedures are followed in order to comply with local, state and federal regulations. Assist with loading and unloading trucks and/or trailers when required. Assist with inventory, general housekeeping, and help customers when necessary. Records deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest. Loads/unloads trucks. Performs pre and post trip vehicle inspections, documenting deficiencies utilizing Airgas forms and ensures all safety items are in good working order. When not driving, this person will perform plant functions. Other duties may be assigned. ________________________ Are you a MATCH? Class A or B license with HazMat and Air Brakes endorsements. Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Current Medical Examiner's Card. Must have 12 months' experience with Straight Truck or Bulk Straight Truck, or Driving School Certificate. Industry and related product knowledge, as well as experience with properly handling compressed gases, preferred. Customer service or sales experience, preferred. Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion also required Ability to perform very heavy work - routinely lifts 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lifts 76 to greater than 100 lbs. Ability to perform work during occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling and finger activities.
