1. Perform assembly-type functions, using various hand tools and bench top pneumaticpresses consistently at or above production targets 2. Handle and evaluate quality of small parts during manufacturing processes. 3. Inform Team Lead of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment orprocesses. 4. Operate equipment needed to perform job. 5. Adhere to Shop Practices including proper gowning and use of personal protectiveequipment and following standard work. 6. Submit Safety Observations through Safety Program and new Ideas through IdeasProgram. 7. Update the Hour by Hour Board and complete Pareto charts. 8. Meet quality assurance requirements, complete DHRs, and perform ProcessMonitoring. 9. Perform other duties as needed. Education Degree
Preferred Experience
1. Previous assembly experience with small parts required;1 year 2. Experience in crimping and gluing small parts; 1 year 3. Ability to perform material replenishment duties; 1 year 4. Ability to perform in-process inspections; 1 year 5. Ability to perform changeover for parts and equipment; 1 year 6. Ability to setup auto baggers and printers for new orders; 1 year Pay range for this opportunity is $16.14 - $20.89.This position is eligible forbonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc. STERIS offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits portfolio.
