Under the direction of the Sleep Manager, Supervisor, or designated physician, the incumbent will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This includes conducting overnight and daytime polysomnographic studies, delivering diagnostic and therapeutic services, and supporting patient care and education. The key responsibilities include: calibrating medical equipment, applying EEG electrodes and setting up respiratory monitoring devices, administering unattended Home Sleep Tests (HST) and educating patients on procedures and expectations. Following data collection, the technologist will analyze and score polysomnographic recordings, documenting sleep stages, arousals, and respiratory events in accordance with established protocols. Additional duties include programming, downloading, and troubleshooting HST devices, assisting with PAP troubleshooting and mask fittings, and supporting the operational needs of the sleep lab such as equipment maintenance, supply management, and onboarding new staff. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $80,973 - $100,663 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $38.78 - $48.21 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
