Responsibilities:

  • Ability to supervise program staff in a culturally competent manner and to ensure staff maintains required competencies.

  • Oversight of milieu including behavioral treatment planning for mental health and substance abuse.

  • Effective communication with consumers, peers and other professionals that is sensitive to the racial/ethnic/cultural/class backgrounds.

  • Operate program in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring compliance with DPH and CARF regulatory requirements.

  • Oversees day to day clinical operation of the program. Interviews and recommends staff for hire. Participates in Director On-Call rotation to provide staff with support and to ensure program safety during non-business hours and weekends. Participates in management team meetings to develop and implement program goals and objectives. Co-leads staff meetings and works with program director to establish, update and/or implement program policies and procedures.

  • Provides administrative and clinical supervision to assigned program staff. Assigns work responsibilities to staff.

  • Designs/implements staff training schedule as required.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work or a related field.

  • Must be licensed or license-eligible (LMHC, LICSW, LCSW, LADC-1).

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years mental health/substance abuse treatment experience.

  • Current valid US-issued driver's license and a registered inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including travel between work sites.
