DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will collaborate with interagency partners and private providers to deliver high-quality, family-focused services. You will be responsible for scheduling and conducting case review meetings, coordinating special teams to address specific needs, and initiating development strategies and grant writing activities. Your work will involve promoting the meaningful inclusion of parents and consumers in treatment planning, service development, evaluation, and policy development. Some of your duties will include engaging with parents and children to understand family concerns, as well as providing advisory services and support to community agencies and educational programs. Additionally, you will negotiate service plan financing with team members from involved agencies and systems. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a County Mental Health Program Specialist 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of professional level experience in the field of mental health; and a bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

- Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Luzerne and Wyoming Counties. If no eligible candidates who live within Luzerne and Wyoming Counties apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
