DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will oversee various storeroom operations, which encompass preparing purchase requests for necessary supplies, receiving and storing parts, distributing items, and conducting inventory management within the storeroom. Your role will also involve assisting in the evaluation of work plans to ensure that all essential resources-such as labor, materials, equipment, and funding-are adequately allocated to meet project objectives. You will support the adjustment of these work plans as needed to maintain balance and efficiency.
Additionally, you will analyze data from the Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) Plant Maintenance and Roadway Management Systems to verify that program goals are met and that overall system control is upheld. Your responsibilities will include reviewing foreman payrolls for accuracy and utilizing reports to track work data, including completed production units, man-hours, equipment usage, and material consumption, addressing any discrepancies that arise. You will also monitor work data to ensure compliance with MAPI measures and provide recommendations for organizational improvements.
Furthermore, you will assist in overseeing maintenance operations in the field to ensure adherence to approved maintenance standards and conduct field studies to collect data for the development of work standards. Lastly, you will play a key role in managing the materials aspect of the SAP Plant Maintenance and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Systems for the county organization, guiding the procurement, receipt, storage, and distribution of bulk materials and garage storeroom items to ensure resource availability and promote efficient resource utilization. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime & shift work required. Work hours subject to change based on seasonal requirements and operational needs
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $40,685.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Technical Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or
- An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
