DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will welcome customers, verify their identification, assist with completing application forms, and input data into online licensing software. You will also provide necessary forms and informational brochures tailored to customer needs. A key responsibility includes administering standardized knowledge tests to evaluate applicants' comprehension of motor vehicle laws, as well as conducting vision screenings with a telebinocular instrument. Furthermore, you will enter test results and applications into the system, address public inquiries, and ensure customers are informed about available services, including REAL ID requirements and various licensing options. Additionally, you will issue Restoration Requirements Letters upon request and apply the appropriate fee waiver codes as needed, following all Fee Waiver Guidelines. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly
- Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime and travel as needed
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
