About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Overview

We're looking for a seasoned design leader who can shape how Salesforce and its customers experience cutting-edge technology. This role is about transforming complex emerging technologies into intuitive, delightful experiences that solve real business problems and accelerate customer value.
You will be a player-coach, leading by example while building and mentoring a small, nimble design team that thrives on experimentation, rapid iteration, and executing bold ideas. We ship production-ready MVPs in months, not years, and measure success by the impact we create. If you love working like a startup inside a global leader-and you're motivated by turning vision into tangible user experiences-this is your stage.

Why Join Us

We operate like an innovation lab inside Salesforce-moving quickly, taking smart risks, and building products that shape the future of work. You'll work on high-visibility initiatives, partner with leaders across the company, and have the freedom to bring bold design ideas to life. If you're passionate about designing the future of human-technology interaction across various emerging technologies, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do
  • Define design vision and strategy for emerging technology and the experiences across Salesforce that we influence, focusing on user-centered design that makes complex technology accessible and delightful
  • Lead as a player-coach, balancing hands-on design work with team leadership, mentoring, and strategic direction
  • Rapidly prototype with product partners to validate concepts and communicate our vision across multiple projects and initiatives
  • Build and hire a small, nimble design team that can move quickly and adapt to evolving technology landscapes
  • Pioneer UX best practices for emerging technologies, including AI integration, next-generation interfaces, and innovative interaction patterns
  • Drive rapid design experimentation to validate concepts and iterate quickly, using user feedback and behavioral data to refine solutions
  • Engage directly with customers and users to conduct research, test prototypes, and uncover insights that drive design decisions
  • Present design work and rationale to executives, stakeholders, and at industry forums with compelling storytelling and clear design thinking
Key Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in UX/product design, including 4+ years in leadership roles delivering large-scale, high-impact digital products
  • Hands-on design skills with the ability to lead by example while building and mentoring a team
  • Comfortable working with various cutting-edge technologies and translating them into user-friendly experiences
  • Rapid prototyping expertise with strong collaboration skills to work closely with product teams in fast-paced, iterative environments
  • Proven ability to hire and build small, high-performing teams that can adapt quickly to new challenges and technologies
  • Strong design execution skills: taking concepts from research through shipped experiences, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with the ability to advocate for users and design decisions across diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with shifting priorities and evolving technology landscapes
  • Portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving, systems thinking, and measurable impact on user experience and business outcomes across various technology domains
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, related field; advanced degree in design or technical discipline a plus
