Position Summary NOTE: Duration of assignment approx through December 2025. General Purpose of Job Briefly describe the job s primary purpose in the organization in no more than one or two sentences. Support on (EHS) Quality Assurance activities such as corrective actions, internal audits, investigations and RCAs, data analysis, trending and reporting, development programs and administering training, and other as needed. This position description/ summary reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Prioritized Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities In order of importance and time spent annually, list the expected duties of this job. Responsibilities Quality Management System Enhancement: Continuously refine and enhance the (EHS) Quality Management System in alignment with industry standards (ISO 9001, RC14001, RSPO, Kosher, GMP, etc.) and regulatory requirements. Compliance Coordination: Collaborate with local teams to uphold compliance standards, driving regular audits to maintain effective compliance measures. Stay updated with the latest industry regulations (FDA, OSHA, EPA, etc.), industry standards, applicable certification standards (RC14001, RSPO, Kosher, GMP, etc.), and best practices related to chemical manufacturing. Audits and Assessments: Conduct thorough audits and evaluations of corporate and site operational processes, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting efforts to ensure adherence to established protocols. Nonconformity Management: Support implementation of a system for managing internal and external nonconformities. Document, investigate, and resolve nonconformities in a timely manner. Lead/ facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) initiatives to resolve non-conformances from customers, internal sources, and suppliers, including follow-up verification activities. Documentation and Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and guiding documents of all QA activities, audits, and compliance documentation. Data entry, database management, and trend analysis. Reporting: Prepare regular reports, agendas, etc. for management meetings. Track/ report progress towards quality objectives and KPIs. Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of Chemical Industry and Quality Management System Experience . Understanding and/or experience of ISO, RC14001, RSPO and GMP concepts and requirements. Training and/or experience in FMEA, Root Cause Failure Analysis, or other methodologies. Familiarity with industry regulations and standards, ISO 9000, ISO14001, Kosher, HACCP, GMP, FDA, RSPO, Responsible Care (RC14001/ RCMS), Halal, etc. Training and experience in FMEA, TapRoot or other RCA methodologies. High level of proficiency with Microsoft programs, working knowledge of SAP and SharePoint. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to work in a diverse work environment. Strong facilitation and team-building skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
