Summary/Objective:

The Facility Project Manager will lead critical facility transformation projects across Lippert's manufacturing and operational footprint. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering facility-related initiatives that align with strategic priorities-including consolidation, expansions, renovations, safety improvements, sustainability initiatives, and technology-enabled workplace upgrades. The Facility Project Manager will act as the central point of coordination between Operations, Engineering, IT, HR, Safety, external partners, and other cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget-while creating modern, safe, and engaging environments for Lippert's team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead facility transformation projects (consolidations, expansions, renovations, relocations, and new builds) from initiation to completion.
  2. Develop and manage project charters, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
  3. Ensure all projects are aligned with Lippert's operational strategies and cultural priorities.
  4. Partner with Operations, Safety, IT, Engineering, HR, Corporate Real Estate, and other cross-functional teams to ensure facility projects meet business requirements.
  5. Engage with leadership to prioritize facility initiatives based on strategic value, customer experience, and ROI.
  6. Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, architects, and engineers.
  7. Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
  8. Drive standardization of facility processes, layouts, and equipment where appropriate.
  9. Integrate sustainability and energy efficiency into facility designs and upgrades.
  10. Provide regular updates to leadership through dashboards, presentations, and project reports.
  11. Translate technical project details into clear business outcomes for executive audiences.
  12. Foster team member engagement by ensuring facilities support productivity, collaboration, and wellness.

Working Conditions:

  1. Primarily working indoors, office environment.
  2. May sit for several hours at a time.
  3. Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
  4. Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  2. 5+ years of experience managing large-scale facility, construction, or transformation projects in manufacturing, automotive, or related industries.
  3. PMP certification or equivalent preferred.

Competencies:

  1. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex facility projects.
  2. Strong knowledge of construction processes, design principles, and facility operations.
  3. Budget and financial management experience ($1M+ projects).
  4. Familiarity with ERP and project management tools (e.g., D365, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, MS Project, Power BI).
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Ability to balance short-term needs with long-term strategic facility vision.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to count and record findings. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly talk and listen. This position may require typing and sitting in a chair for up to 8 hours a day.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time salary position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager.

Travel:

Travel will be moderate and would be primarily local during the business day.
