Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:
Job Summary: Join our healthcare team as a Shuttle Driver at our state-of-the-art hospital in Illinois. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services for hospital staff, patients, and visitors. The Shuttle Driver plays a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of personnel and materials within the hospital campus, contributing to a positive and supportive healthcare environment What you will do: * Operate hospital shuttle vehicles safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and regulations. * Provide transportation services for hospital staff, patients, and visitors to designated locations on the hospital campus * Adhere to designated shuttle routes and schedules to ensure timely transportation services * Communicate any delays or disruptions to the Shuttle Operations Manager promptly. * Provide courteous and professional customer service to passengers * Assist passengers with entering and exiting the shuttle, ensuring their safety and comfort * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of shuttle vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition * Report any mechanical issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel for maintenance * Maintain effective communication with the Shuttle Operations Manager and other shuttle drivers * Relay relevant information to passengers, such as changes in schedules or routes. * Adhere to hospital policies and procedures related to shuttle operations. * Uphold safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of passengers. Physical Demands: Medium work (exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 30 lbs. of force frequently and or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects) Benefits (For full time or part time positions):
