Position Overview The Deposit Research Specialist is responsible for assisting all daily functions within the Deposit Overdrafts and Research Department, including all research functions relating to deposit accounts. This role also involves processing and responding to legal requests including, but not limited to, garnishments, levies, subpoenas. They will also be responsible for the Bank's escheatment process, ensuring all accounts are accurately reported within the established timeframes. As part of the procedure and processing, there will be extensive interaction with branch and operations employees to ensure follow-up and completion of work. Essential Job Functions Level I

Location Details This position is considered a hybrid role. With management approval, an incumbent may work a combination of remote and onsite work to perform the regular responsibilities of the role. Actual schedule requirements may vary based upon business needs. Note: Job levels and hiring decisions are based upon both the business needs of the department and the qualifications of the incumbent. In some cases, an incumbent may meet the requirements of a level 2 or 3 but may be hired in at a lower level based upon business needs and staffing dynamics. Compensation & Benefits Level 1 Base pay: $19.10 - $24.25 Level 2 Base pay: $20.10 - $26.15 Level 3 Base pay: $22.15 - $28.80 Old Second is committed to fair and equitable pay practices.
