Job Overview

The Director of Treasury serves as a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the organization's treasury and cash management operations, ensuring optimal liquidity, safeguarding corporate assets, and driving financial resilience to support both short- and long-term growth objectives. This role directs the management of cash forecasting, working capital optimization, and investment strategies, ensuring that funds are deployed efficiently to maximize return while maintaining appropriate risk controls.

The Director is accountable for the oversight of treasury technology and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. This role also identifies and mitigates financial risks - while maintaining strict compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and governance requirements.

The Director oversees the organization's bank account structure and management, ensuring accounts are optimized for operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and risk mitigation. This includes maintaining accurate and up-to-date account documentation, managing signatory authority, and ensuring full compliance with internal controls and corporate governance policies. The role proactively monitors bank account activity, implements process improvements, and collaborates with banking partners to support streamlined cash management and secure financial operations.

The Director will assist in managing banking relationships by supporting negotiations, monitoring service levels, and collaborating with financial partners to ensure optimal terms, service quality, and alignment with the company's treasury objectives.

Partnering closely with senior leadership, finance, and operational teams, the Director develops treasury strategies that align with corporate objectives, support enterprise-wide liquidity needs, and strengthen the company's financial position.

What You Will Do



  • Lead the company's cash management, liquidity forecasting, and daily bank account reconciliation.
  • Manage and optimize short- and long-term financing, debt instruments, and investment portfolios.
  • Oversee day-to-day treasury operations, including bank account management, fund transfers, and payment approvals.
  • Develop and maintain strong banking and financial institution relationships.
  • Lead treasury technology initiatives to enhance efficiency, automation, and reporting accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal) to support corporate objectives.
  • Develop and mentor treasury team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.


Skills You Will Need

Cash & Liquidity Management - Proven ability to forecast and manage cash flows, optimize liquidity, and evaluate cash management structures to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

Results-oriented leadership - Inspires and drives teams to achieve measurable outcomes, ensuring accountability and alignment with organizational goals.

Detail-Oriented - High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in high-volume, high-impact cash operations.

Treasury Systems & Tools - Proficiency in treasury management systems (e.g., Kyriba, bank portals, investment platforms) and Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and models).

Process Improvement - Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and drive automation or enhancements in cash management workflows.

Problem Solving & Decision Making - Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and make informed decisions quickly.

Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex information across teams and to external banking partners.

Time Management - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration - Ability to partner with internal teams (e.g., Accounting, Accounts Payable, Legal, Tax) and external stakeholders (e.g., banks, 3rd party platform providers) to execute operations and initiatives.

Ethics & Integrity - Unwavering commitment to ethical standards, with a reputation for operating transparently and earning trust across all levels of the organization.

Who You Are



  • +10 years of related treasury, banking, finance and/or accounting experience required, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CTP, CPA, CFA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record in cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in treasury management systems, ERP platforms, and financial modeling tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management abilities.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs, including occasional travel to meet with banking partners, attend industry conferences, or support regional operations.
