What you Will Do:
Provide daily work direction and training for Quality Assurance Associates and facilitate collaboration between departments to fulfill business needs Execute incoming, in-process and final inspections on assemblies and individual components per specifications, and drawings Check parts for compliance with company or engineering identified standards and requirements using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and visual inspections systems Complete inspection reports, related paperwork, and quality records Identify ongoing quality issues and prevent potential production issues and make suggestions for continuous improvement Conduct research as needed and prepare documents for reporting purposes Occasional travel required to other company facilities
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing and/or quality environment Proficient in the use of standard measurement techniques, including calipers, scales, gages and micrometers Attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to complete reports Ability to communicate (read, write, and speak) in English Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role
