Buyer- Medical Device, (Hybrid- 1-2 days in Middleton office) Become a key player as a Buyer- Medical Device, managing MRP messages, placing accurate purchase orders and optimizing inventory levels. We are looking for a strategic thinker, who is ready to make a positive difference in the lives of patients all around the world. What you'll get to do in this role: Action MRP messages and other supply chain messages as necessary. Place purchase orders with approved vendors based on MRP signals, ensuring accuracy of delivery schedules. Maintain up-to-date information on Oracle system for various parameters related to parts and materials. Optimize inventory levels while securing market supply and minimizing Days Inventory on Hand (DIOH). Collaborate with strategic sourcing to renegotiate prices and contracts with suppliers, aiming for cost efficiency. Coordinate with various departments to meet customer demands and address issues related to warehouse, inspection, trade, compliance, and finance. Manage Engineering Change Requests to minimize obsolete stocks and actively contribute to New Product Introductions. What we are looking for: Basic Qualifications... Bachelor Degree in a related field Must have 5 years' experience in a similar role. Extensive MRP/ERP applications knowledge (Oracle/EBS, would be advantageous). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Good working knowledge of regulatory expectations and industry practices including industry standards QSR, ISO13485, and MDD. Preferred Skills/Certifications: IIPMM or APICS certification preferred.
