A Brief Overview:
The Department Support Assistant II will play a crucial role in providing advanced administrative and operational support to the department, contributing to its efficiency and success. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in administrative support and a commitment to ensuring the department's smooth operation.

What you will do:

  • Provide general administrative support to the department, including answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining departmental records and files.

  • Assist with the organization of meetings, conferences, and special events, including scheduling, room reservations, and material preparation.

  • Enter and update data in spreadsheets, databases, and electronic systems as needed.

  • Assist in generating routine reports and documents for the department.

  • Maintain and monitor inventory of office supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock and submitting orders as necessary.

  • Organize and maintain departmental records, files, and documents.

  • Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference calls for department members as required.

  • Coordinate and confirm appointments and manage calendars as needed.

  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by department leadership.

  • Provide backup support to other administrative staff when necessary.

What you will need:

  • High School Diploma Required

  • 1 Year previous administrative hospital experience, preferred.
