Responsibilities

The Valley Health System has expanded into an integrated health network that serves more than two million people in Southern Nevada. Job Description:

Responsible for two primary responsibilities; to maintain and troubleshoot a clinical information system that is used to provide operational support (including workflow and electronic automation) and clinical decision making capabilities; and, to function as the liaison between the clinical users and the computer system


Qualifications

Education: Associates Degree in Healthcare Informatics, Clinical Engineering or Information Systems (work experience or professional certification may be substituted)

Experience: Two to five years clinical experience in an acute care facility or other business with comparable computing environment

Techinical Skills: Computer proficiency with basic windows applications including Office applications and email

Other: Familiarity with clinical terminology and understanding of clinical practice
