The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support to the Physician Assistant Program in the College of Health Professions. This temporary position (October 1, 2025 - January 31, 2026) is based on the UAMS Little Rock campus and is not remote. Reporting to the Chair/Program Director, the coordinator supports program operations, student admissions, scheduling, reporting, and inventory management. This role serves as the main point of contact for faculty, students, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree PLUS two (2) years of experience in general administrative office support OR Associates Degree PLUS four (4) years ofexperience in general administrative office support OR High School Diploma/GED PLUS six (6) years ofexperience in general administrative office support.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, SharePoint, Forms and Excel. Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented, self-directed, motivated, team-oriented, have ability to multi-task, possess strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, time management, excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of executive-level office experience

  • Experience using Workday

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain office equipment, inventory, and supplies; process work orders and financial reports; handle deposits following UAMS/CHP cash-handling procedures

  • Serve as primary contact for vendors and stakeholders; manage program communication, scheduling, meeting agendas, minutes, and special event logistics; support faculty with research reporting, syllabi, and course evaluations

  • Provide administrative support for student recruitment and admissions, including managing applications, scheduling interviews, preparing admission packets, and maintaining strict confidentiality of applicant records

  • Perform other duties as assigned
