Overview
The Sr. Manager Salesforce COE will lead and oversee the strategic planning, execution, and management of Salesforce-related initiatives for Tactile Medical. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective delivery of Salesforce solutions, aligning with business goals, and optimizing the value of technology investments.
This role ensures that our technology solutions align with our corporate strategy, enhance operational efficiencies and provide competitive advantage. As a key member of the senior IT management team, the leader will collaborate closely with other leaders in IT and business units to spearhead transformation initiatives, optimize Salesforce value, and ensure the security and compliance of the Salesforce platform.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and patient services, to understand their needs and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
- Develop a clear vision and roadmap for the Salesforce platform, considering both short-term goals and long-term strategic objectives.
- Align Salesforce delivery efforts with the overall Tactile Medical transformation strategy.
- Salesforce Platform Ownership and Roadmap:
- Manage resources who will define and prioritize Salesforce features, enhancements, and customizations for the Salesforce platform.
- Oversee product managers, business analysts, and development teams to ensure timely delivery of product features.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to inform the Salesforce product roadmap.
- Application Development and Configuration:
- Oversee the development and configuration of Salesforce applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement scalable solutions.
- Encourage Agile delivery by driving continuous improvement in application development processes.
- Data Support and Analysis:
- Manage data-related aspects of Salesforce, including data modeling, integration, and data quality.
- Work with data analysts to extract meaningful insights from Salesforce data.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and privacy within the platform.
- Governance and Risk Management:
- Partner with the Portfolio and Program Management teams to adhere to, including change management, release management, and security.
- Mitigate risks related to product delivery, such as scope creep, resource constraints, and technical challenges.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with systems integrators (SI's) and external consultants to align project goals and value.
- Define roles and responsibilities for each stakeholder involved in Salesforce projects.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the budget for Salesforce applications, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and management of licenses and seats (885).
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration)
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in IT, with at least five years Salesforce experience in a leadership role or Product Owner role.
- Experience with enterprise applications and/or data management.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HiTrust CSF, NIST, GDPR, CCPA).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Salesforce Expertise (more than one cloud: Sales, Marketing, Service, Experience, etc.)
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, Salesforce Data Cloud
- CI/CD and Devops Processes
- Technical Tools: Gearset, Salesforce Flow, Salesforce Shield, etc.
- Project and Program Management: Azure Devops (ADO)
- Data, Analytics, and Integration (API Development)

Below is the starting salary range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.
$115,600 - $173,250
