As our Systems Engineer III - Active Directory subject matter expert, you'll be the strategic mastermind behind our directory services backbone, with the ability to influence, transform and elevate our entire directory services ecosystem.

What You'll Own

• Architect the Future: Drive the strategic vision for our Active Directory environment, with minimal oversight to implement a roadmap that you will have a large part in developing
• Automate Everything: Identify repetitive processes and leverage your PowerShell expertise to create elegant automation solutions that eliminate manual work
• Solve Complex Puzzles: Tackle challenging directory service problems with creative solutions that enhance security and performance
• Continuous Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and proactively introduce new technologies and approaches
• Lead Critical Projects: Take full ownership of medium-sized initiatives from conception to implementation, with minimal oversight
• Mentor and Elevate: Share your expertise to develop the skills of your teammates and raise the capabilities of the entire team
• Crisis Resolution: Own and resolve high-priority escalations with the understanding that while such incidents are rare, your expertise is essential

• You have strong scripting capabilities with PowerShell (3+ years) and are always looking to expand your automation toolkit
• You have experience with operational tooling like monitoring and patch management solutions (5+ years)
• You have a meticulous approach to documentation and believe in creating comprehensive technical resources

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma (higher education valued but not required - we care more about your skills and passion)
• 7+ years of hands-on Windows AD and Server Administration experience
• 5+ years working with OKTA or comparable identity management platforms
• Working proficiency with database technologies, particularly MSSQL
• 7+ years administering Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, DNS, LDAP, and Kerberos
• 7+ years implementing and optimizing monitoring and patch management solutions
• 5+ years of scripting experience with PowerShell
• Microsoft certifications highly valued as demonstration of technical excellence
